A good fundraiser.
A clear plan.
Useful pieces for the school office, teachers and parent council. Choose your goal, confirm the event details, then make these materials your own.
These resources are working templates. Event dates, pricing, staffing, assembly format and package inclusions are confirmed in a school’s quote, not by this page.

Suggested milestones, adjustable to your school calendar. Confirm the kickoff and event-day plan before sharing dates with families.
- BEFORE LAUNCH
Agree on the plan.
Confirm the date, host, suitable space (gym, library or media room), student count, rotations, accessibility arrangements and school supervision. Approve the quote, fundraising goal, participation policy, collection method and any fee or revenue-share terms. If using school-wide stretch-goal upgrades, agree their costs and conditions before announcing them.
- ABOUT TWO WEEKS BEFORE
Kick things off.
If agreed in the package, hold a short assembly or classroom introduction. Explain the school’s goal, demonstrate safe play and share the approved flyer and pledge sheet.
- THE FOLLOWING WEEK
Practice and remind.
Let students explore the practice game in a school-approved way. Share the school’s morning announcements. Remind families how to contribute without sharing students’ details online.
- A FEW DAYS BEFORE
Check the real details.
Finalize rotations and staff responsibilities. Confirm lighting, setup access, emergency routes, collection instructions and support needs. Tell teachers what students need to bring.
- EVENT DAY
Play. Think. Cheer.
Welcome each group, explain the host’s rules and count strokes on paper. School staff supervise students and transitions. Use the agreed participation options and keep fundraising separate from the score competition.
- AFTER THE EVENT
Close the loop.
The school reconciles pledges, confirms any capped amounts and settles the agreed provider fee. Share a verified result and a thank-you. Handle completed paper records under the school’s privacy process.
A few words.
A lot of school spirit.
Replace every [bracketed detail], confirm the facts and obtain school approval before reading or sending. These drafts do not send messages.
Try a different angle.
A little reminder.
Today, we putt!
Look what we did together.
Celebrate the school.
Protect the students.
Use group encouragement rather than public donation rankings. Don’t publish student names, individual fundraising totals, class lists or photographs without the school’s proper authorization.
Edits stay in this page. Download to keep them.
Make the goal real.
Then make it fun.
A suggested 10–15 minute outline around two weeks before event day. This is a planning draft, not an included or booked assembly. Confirm format, host, location and cost first.
Explain the school-chosen goal in one clear sentence. Show what it will mean for the school community.
Aaron or the agreed presenter demonstrates a gentle putt. Ask students to predict an angle or distance before showing the result.
Explain class rotations, listening to the host, safe waiting areas and different ways to participate. School staff manage supervision.
Show the actual school-approved sheet. Explain fixed gifts, or the selected capped pledge model, collection instructions and deadline. Avoid asking students to share personal totals.
Introduce the practice game. Teachers or families decide when and how students access it.
Try a short call-and-response: “Play! Think! Give!” Thank the school and remind students to take the approved information home.
The final check.
School team
- Approve campaign wording and contribution policy.
- Confirm accessible routes, staff supervision and group transitions.
- Manage money through the school-approved method.
- Share only approved dates, links and materials.
- Keep student and sponsor records private.
Event team
- Confirm equipment, lighting, staffing and setup requirements.
- Test course layout and realistic group flow.
- Agree safe-play instructions and a stroke limit if needed.
- Confirm what the quote includes and what costs extra.
Together
- Agree an accessible participation plan and contingency.
- Approve the final schedule, including bells and lunch.
- If exploring a school-run two-day rental, agree handover/training, equipment inventory, adult supervision, safe storage/charging, damage/insurance terms, support and pickup before launch. Recess or lunch play also requires the school’s approval and supervision.
- Confirm any school-wide glow, DJ or extra-time reward before promising it; every student shares the experience.
- Confirm assembly arrangements separately if applicable.
- Check payment dates, fees and cancellation terms.
- Set the process for the final fundraising report.
One link for your school.
Only the details you approve.
A proposed custom school page can bring together the event date, goal, practice game, approved pledge PDF, announcements and your school’s collection link. It does not need student accounts, public donor lists or individual fundraising profiles.
- Book and confirm: agree the quote and programme first.
- Build the school draft: use only school-approved public information and adult contact details.
- School review: verify dates, goal, payment destination, documents and participation message.
- Publish and share: activate the approved page and QR code, then recheck the payment destination.
- Wrap up: update the verified result, remove expired payment calls to action and follow the school’s retention choices.
The example is a demonstration, not an active campaign. Custom school-page delivery and hosting arrangements must be agreed in the package.

Choose a format
for your school.
A 45-minute idea.
Explore a shorter putting session. We’ll confirm what fits the course layout, group size and available time.
Give groups their turn.
Build a run of class rotations around the school’s actual timetable. The quote confirms course time, group count, staffing and whether music or glow is included.
Make a day of it.
Plan class rotations and an optional dance celebration. Agree group starting points, rotations and staffing around your school timetable.
Your space. Maybe more than one day.
A library or media room could work if the layout, clear routes and lighting are suitable. Balls, putters and scorecards are available. Interested in keeping the course for two days and having the school run it? Ask about a possible school-run arrangement, including teacher-led class activities or supervised recess and lunch play.
A multi-day option is not yet a standard package. Equipment handover, trained adult supervision, safe overnight storage, building access, damage responsibility, support and pickup would need to be agreed before booking. We do not leave a course without an agreed operating plan.
As the goal grows,
the celebration could glow.
Agree on school-wide stretch goals before the campaign: perhaps a glow upgrade, a DJ celebration or extra activity time. Choose only upgrades the school and event team have approved and budgeted.
Every student shares the experience. A child’s own donations never determine access to an upgrade. Set each goal, incremental cost, funding source and fallback plan in writing before promising it.
